Youngster Andreas Krenner and Mario Sailer, both from ERT-Steyregg, were running their XRAY T3`12 cars in the Stock class, powered by 13.5T motors without power programs.
While practicing, both drivers drove very fast laps and set exactly the same best time. Both XRAYs were very fast and they were very easy to drive.
After two qualifiers, Mario Sailer got TQ, but Andi Krenner was only 1.2sec behind. In the third qualifier, Andi risked it all and ended up setting the best time. In the last qualification, Mario also drove his best time, but Andi still got TQ by 0.25sec ahead of Mario.
In the first final we saw an excellent and fair race between both drivers. A small mistake by Andi allowed Mario to pass and finish this run at the frond⦠by a gap of only 0.009sec !
The second final was a copy of the first final run, but this time both drivers drove without any mistakes and so Andi won this final with a gap of only 0.14sec.
In the third final, Andi had an excellent start, but Mario was involved in start crash. Andi drove an excellent race again and won the run and the race masterfully.
